Research

Alberto Tagliaferro was born the 18th of September 1957 in Varese. He took his degree in Nuclear Engineering and his PHD in Physics at Polytechnic of Turin. From 1992 to present he’s Associate Professor in the Physics Department of Polytechnic of Turin. He’s the head of the Carbon Group, a research group founded in 2002. His research interest are in the field of Carbon nanotubes growth and their applications (hydrogen storage, biotechnology, ultrasensible cantilevers), Defects in ultrananocrystalline diamond, Interaction of gases with nanoporous carbon, Analysis and simulation of the human gait, Color detection and reproduction.
