Numerical models are being developed in order to simulate break-up of fuel jets, evaporation and mixing with air for high-pressure injection systems, in both GDI and Diesel engines.

Partners in this research activity are FIAT Powertrain Technologies and the Universities of Valencia (UPV), Perugia and Rome (Tor Vergata).
