Ph.D. Student
Marco Malaguti obtained the Laurea Triennale (equivalent to Bachelor of Science) in environmental engineering from Università degli Studi di Ferrara in October 2019 and his Laurea Magistrale (equivalent to Master of Science) in environmental engineering from Politecnico di Torino in 2021. Marco started his research activity during the Master’s thesis under the supervision of Prof. Alberto Tiraferri investigating microalgae biomass water reuse possibilities through ceramic membrane filtration.
Starting from November 2021, he is a 37th cycle Ph.D. student in the field of membrane processes for water and wastewater treatments, focusing on pressure, thermal, and concentration driven processes to investigate zero liquid discharge solutions and resources recovery opportunities.
