I started my Ph.D. at Politecnico di Torino in November 2018. I received my B.Sc. in civil engineering from Shiraz University and my M.Sc. in environmental engineering with a focus on water and wastewater treatment from the University of Tehran in Iran. I worked on the adsorption of contaminants using pyrolysis of agricultural waste during my masters. Currently, I am occupied with developing novel antibacterial and antifouling membranes for the treatment of different water sources in membrane-based processes, including forward osmosis and ultrafiltration, in order to prolong the life span of membranes while maintaining the efficiency of the filtration process and the quality of product solution.
