Francesco Sapio received the MSC in mechanical engineering from Politecnico di Torino in 2016. He joined the e3 group as a Ph.D student, working on “Diesel Aftertreatment modelling optimization techniques” in cooperation with General Motors Global Propulsion Systems. His research covers various modeling techniques, including 0D, 1D and 3D CFD, applied to the simulation of state-of-the-art Diesel Afterteatment Systems such as DOC, LNT, SCR, SCRF and ASC catalysts.
