Si \u00e8 laureato con lode in Ingegneria dell\u2019Ambiente al Politecnico di Torino, dove ha conseguito il dottorato di ricerca in Geoingegneria Ambientale nel 2004.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><span class=\"policorpo\">Il professor Sethi \u00e8 a capo del Groundwater Engineering Research Group ed \u00e8 membro del Senato Accademico e del Comitato Direttivo dell\u2019Ufficio per il Trasferimento Tecnologico del Politecnico di Torino.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><span class=\"policorpo\">I suoi studi riguardano principalmente il monitoraggio e la modellazione ambientale, il trasporto e il flusso di contaminanti, il trasporto colloidale in mezzi porosi, il monitoraggio delle acque di falda, lo sviluppo di tecnologie innovative di bonifica e le nanotecnologie ambientali.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><span class=\"policorpo\">Ha partecipato alla progettazione e al monitoraggio della prima barriera permeabile reattiva istallata in Italia e per dieci anni \u00e8 stato responsabile del monitoraggio del sistema acquiferi nell\u2019ambito del Progetto MOSE per la difesa della Laguna di Venezia dalle alte maree. Ha condotto ricerche su nanotecnologie sostenibili ed energie rinnovabili nell\u2019ambito di diversi progetti finanziati dal Governo Italiano e dall\u2019Unione Europea (<a href=\"https:\/\/areeweb.polito.it\/ricerca\/groundwater\/it\/research\/colloids\/aquarehab\/\">FP7 AQUAREHAB<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/areeweb.polito.it\/ricerca\/groundwater\/it\/research\/colloids\/nanorem\/\">FP7 NANOREM<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/areeweb.polito.it\/ricerca\/groundwater\/it\/research\/colloids\/reground\/\">H2020 REGROUND<\/a>, e <a href=\"https:\/\/areeweb.polito.it\/ricerca\/groundwater\/it\/research\/shallow-geothermal-energy\/greta\/\">Alpine Space GRETA projects<\/a>).\nNel 2012 \u00e8 stato ufficiale della delegazione italiana a un meeting degli alti funzionari del Carnegie Group (G8+5) al Centro Comune di Ricerca (JRC) di Bruxelles. Dal 2015 al 2019 \u00e8 stato Direttore di Dipartimento (DIATI) presso il Politecnico di Torino (70 professori, 30 membri dello staff, 150 ricercatori, budget annuale di 4M\u20ac). Durante il suo mandato il dipartimento ha ottenuto la qualifica di eccellenza conferita dal MIUR ricevendo un finanziamento di 9M\u20ac. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><span class=\"policorpo\">Docente del corso Ingegneria degli Acquiferi al Politecnico di Torino, ha tenuto diversi corsi presso istituti nazionali ed internazionali riguardo la caratterizzazione ambientale, il trasporto e modellazione di contaminanti, le bonifiche di acquiferi, le dinamiche dei fluidi nel cambiamento climatico e tecnologie nocive.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><span class=\"policorpo\">Ha supervisionato pi\u00f9 di 100 tesisti magistrali e 13 dottorandi. \u00c8 editore associato della rivista Water Resources Research ed \u00e8 autore di pi\u00f9 di 70 articoli scientifici e dei libri di testo Ingegneria degli Aquiferi, Groundwater Engineering curati da Springer, e \u201cNanomaterials for the Detection and Removal of Wastewater Pollutants\u201d curato da Elsevier. Il suo H-index di Scopus \u00e8 25 (su Scholar \u00e8 29).<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-inner-section
