Monica developed an innovative nanoherbicide formulation using low-cost, sustainable, and readily available materials.<\/span><\/p><p><span>Throughout her Ph.D. studies, in addition to continuing her research within the NANOGRASS project, she investigated the effects of various mineral and natural soil amendments on physico-chemical soil properties, as well as their role in adsorbing and reducing the environmental dispersion of selected pesticides.<\/span><\/p><p><span>She currently works as a laboratory technician at the laboratories of the interdepartmental Clean Water Center (CWC), of which the GW group is a part. Her responsibilities include laboratory management and personnel training.
