His master thesis concerns the transport of nanoplastics in water treatment systems. During his studies at Politecnico, he joined the <a href=\"https:\/\/didattica.polito.it\/laurea\/ingegneria_ambiente_territorio\/it\/akanoah\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">A.K.A.NOAH<\/a> team, whose goal is to equip a boat with a system able to collect plastic wastes and measure microplastic (MP) and nanoplastic (NP) concentrations in water bodies. Currently he is a PhD student (36th cycle 2019-2022) under the supervision of Prof. Rajandrea Sethi and Prof. Tiziana Tosco. His studies mainly concern the transport of micro- and nanoplastics in treatment plant filters and soil.<\/p><p>In his free time, Leonardo likes to participate in outdoor activities (camping, trekking and fishing) to stay in touch with nature.
