He spent 4 years as a post-doc research fellow at the Institut National de la Recherche Scientifique in Qu\u00e9bec City, Canada, working on ground-source heat pumps and underground thermal energy storage in the remote communities of autochthonous peoples of Northern Qu\u00e9bec. He has been the coordinator of the geothermal closed-loop working group within <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.saphea.eu\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">SAPHEA<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, a European research project looking to integrate geothermal technologies into fifth<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&nbsp;generation district heating and cooling grids.
