The people who made the Politecnico are thousands and the choice of some of the most significant persons among teachers, architects, engineers, technicians, directors and politicians must not make us forget how many people anonymously contributed to an enterprise which has lasted for a century and a half approx. The Politecnico education rising from the "lives" of protagonists is extended from class-rooms and laboratories to work and culture places, and it points out how the Politecnico, due to several aspects, is a mirror of the society of which is an expression.
