OBELIX experiment

The aim of this experiment was to study the anti-proton and anti-neutron annihilations on 2H, 2D and heavier gas targets at rest with an extracted beam with momentum between 100 and 1800 MeV/c. The main physics motivations were: dynamics of N-N interactions, precision measurements of strong interaction effects on pp- atoms, quark-gluon aspects of nuclear matter and q-q, q-q and q-q meson spectroscopy.
