14 PhD positions, H2020-MSCA European training network "COMPLETE"

Applications are invited for 14 PhD positions (“Early Stage Researchers”) to be funded by the Marie-Skłodowska- Curie Innovative Training Network “COMPLETE – Cloud-MicroPhysics-Turbulence-Telemetry: An inter-multidisciplinary training network for enhancing the understanding and modeling of atmospheric clouds within the Horizon 2020 Programme of the European Commission. COMPLETE is a consortium of high profile universities, research institutions and companies located in ltaly, France, Germany, Poland, Israel, and UK. More information here.

OLSA (azienda di Rivoli) sta attualmente cercando una persona da impiegare nelle analisi CFD con STAR-CCM+. In particolare si tratta di analisi termo-fluidodinamiche su fanali automobilistici. Sono alla ricerca di qualcuno che abbia già un minimo di esperienza con STAR-CCM+ e/o con la manipolazione di mesh con HyperMesh/ANSA, per sostituire una

28-1-2015 Postdoctoral position in Computational Fluid Dynamics on Ice Production in turbulent sea

A postdoctoral position is going to be offered for a research study on the dynamics of sea ice. No teaching charges are involved in the position. Specific arguments to be treated in the research:
- Modelling and numerical simulation of ice production in sea turbulent waters.
- Impact of sea-ice on the dynamics of waves.

The candidate will be involved in a collaboration between Politecnico di Milano, CNR-ISAC and the University of Cambridge, funded within the PNRA project PANACEA. Local person responsible for the research: Antonella Abbà, Politecnico di Milano. Preference will be given to candidates holding a Ph.D. in Physics, Applied Mathematics,
Engineering or equivalent. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Computational Fluid Mechanics. The position is intended for one year. The net salary can be expected to be approx. 1570 euro per month. Health insurance and social security included in the contract.
