GABRIELLI'S COLLECTION
Collected by Giuseppe Gabrielli, between 30s and 70s, for didactical use, this collection includes over two hundred units.
Re-arranged and set into a permanent exhibition at the department of Aeronautic and Space Engineering, the collection includes structural elements of aircrafts, as trunks of fuselages, wing surfaces, components of oleodynamic plants, tanks and is integrated by didactic posters and users' and maintenance guides.
The wing structure knot of Dornier X (1926) and the hydrostroke wind Macchi Castoldi MC 72 (1930), which in 1934 got the worldly record of absolute speed, are to be noted.
