  Giovanni Bairati

was born in Maggiora (Novara) in 1876 and died in Turin in 1963. Bairati was a civil engineer, who chartered at the Application School for Engineers of Turin in 1904.

He was an assistant of Architecture at the Politecnico di Torino.

He designed interesting civil buildings to living purposes, entering them in the urban context of the beginning of century. Among his works, are to be noted the Casa Mossetto and Sala (in corso De Gasperi, once Orbassano, 43) designed in 1911.

Bairati was also the author of a Dizionario di cognizioni utili (Dictionary of useful knowledge).
