Attilio Lausetti

He was born at Cavallermaggiore (Cuneo) in 1920.
Lausetti graduated in Industrial Engineering (sub-section Aeronautics) at the Politecnico di Torino (1942) and after attending the Refreshing School he graduated also in Aeronautic Engineer (1945).
In February 1948 the engineer was called as substitute teacher for the chair of Aeronautic Constructions of the Politecnico di Torino. He created aeroplanes: project, structures, installation (1950), basic text of exam up to 1961. In the academic year 1948-49 he was entrusted to teach General Aeronautics, whereas from 1960 to 1963 he attended the course in Aerotchniques and Aeronautic Constructions at the Technical Institute "Amedeo
Avogadro" of Turin. In 1976 he becomes full professor of General Aeronautics.
Lausetti was director of the department of Aeronautic and Space Engineering of the Politecnico (1983-1989).
He died in Turin on 1st April 1992.
