Carlo Loisio
He was born in Alexandria in 1856 and died in Turin in 1913. Civil engineer (he graduated in 1881 at the Application School for Engineers of Turin), Loisio was assistant of Graphic Statics and Constructions in the School for Architects and Engineers of Turin. This architectonic works include the palace he built for himself in Turin in corso Duca degli Abruzzi (then corso Vinzaglio, 14) on the corner with corso Stati Uniti (1902).
Loisio founded the magazine "Ingegneria Sanitaria" and published the report on the Extension of the Royal Industrial Museum in "Acts of the Society for Engineers and Architects of Turin" (1897).
