  Ignazio Francesco Maria Michela

was born on 5th March 1792 and died on 15th March 1867 in Turin. Michela graduated at the University of Turin in Civil Architecture in 1810. He was also the measurer (1811) and Hydraulic architect (1813).

In addition he was an engineer inspector of Royal Finance and member of the Royal Albertine Academy of Fine Arts and Agriculture in Turin.

He wrote several works devoted to hydraulic engineer and issue linked to distribution and canalisation of drinkable waters.

As an architect he designed several civil life buildings, mainly in the municipality of Turin.
