Francesco Domenico Michelotti
Topographic and hydraulic engineer and professor of Maths, Michelotti was born in Cinzano (Cuneo) on 10th July 1710 and died in Turin on 12th October 1787.
In 1738 he was appointed as topographic engineer by Carlo Emanuele III. Michelotti participated to the Congress of Builders held on 1st November 1777. He was nominated honorary member of the Academy of Siena and of the Academy of Sciences of Turin.
