Ph.D. Student
Reza Sallakhniknezhad obtained the Laurea Triennale (equivalent to Bachelor of Science) in mechanical engineering from Islamic Azad University, Central Tehran Branch in July 2018 and his Laurea Magistrale (equivalent to Master of Science) in mechanical engineering from Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) in 2023. Reza started his research activity at BIT from aluminum matrix composites (AMCs) and shifted his research to thermal- driven membrane-based processes for wastewater treatment. He has published scientific papers in journals, e.g., Desalination and Membranes, as a first author.
Starting from November 2023, he is a 39th cycle Ph.D. student majoring in civil and environmental engineering. His research field is membrane-based processes for water and wastewater treatments, focusing on thermal driven processes to investigate zero liquid discharge solutions and resource recovery opportunities.
