Research
Research is carried out within university research programs, or sponsored by the European Commission, by National and International Organisations, NGOs local bodies or in the framework of inter-universities agreements.
The main subjects covered by the CRD-PVS are low-cost building technologies, self-help housing, use of natural materials in building construction, environmental science and bioclimatic design in harsh climate, regeneration of marginal urban areas and rehabilitation of architectural heritage in developing countries, global housing quality assessment, disaster risk management and information and communication technologies.
These subjects are also developed within the Post-Graduated School and BArch and MSc courses.
