CARLO MOLLINO FUND
The materials which reached the Library in 1973 are abundant and heterogeneous. During the exhibition of 1989, thanks to convention work by the Politecnico and the Province of Turin led by Enrico Moncalvo with the staff of the Library System and the management of the underwritten body, a choice was made of most significant documents that then are filed.
To this purpose, the fund is subdivided into three parts: Designs, Mail, Photographs. Then, the first section is in its turn subdivided into classes of miscellaneous Documents and Drawings. A catalogue is released for every series. The catalogue of the series Projects reports in a topographic order, first the elements of the class Drawings (17,000 approx.) and then the one of miscellaneous Documents. The catalogue of the series Mail reports in topographic and chronological orders, annual schedules, The catalogue of the Series Photographs refers a selection of 2500 negative photographs from which contact prints were made; to each photogram the location mark was assigned based on 10 subject groups; a summary allows to individuate the content of every group.
