Before the creation of the LO, we have organised a participative action ("Regards croisés") involving the inhabitants of the territory. The inhabitants have chosen an old picture of a landscape of a territory and they have taken a new one of the same landscape in 2004, adding their own comments. The aim was to sensibilize them and to involved elected members to raise awarness on landscape's evolutions depending of urban planning decisions. This pictures have then been exhibited to institute the creation of the LO of the Gulf of Morbihan. The fifth year's of the LO have been celebrated in 2010 by a new exhibition ("Y'a pas photo !") gathering :
- annual photographic renewals of the 60 points of the LO
- photographic renewals of aerian pictures taken 50 years ago
- photographic renewals of old postal cards taken 100 years ago
In 2014, the exhibition "Tous Azimuts" have been organised to celebrate the ten years of the LO. The different parts of the LO were presented to the public (children, inhabitants, elected members, associations, State representatives, urbanists, landscape's architects)

Spain, Catalunya. Landscape Observatory of Catalonia [ES-RCT]:
Landscape Catalogues: Landscape catalogues, created by the Catalan Landscape Law, are used for increasing knowledge and for to the introduction of landscape quality objectives into town and regional planning in Catalonia, as well as into sectorial policies (agriculture, tourism…), with the cooperation and participation of the social agents. The preparation of the catalogues not only means compiling information and data, but also articulating processes of joint reflection with the agents in the territory in order to create new knowledge and answers. So, the catalogues break away from certain methodological traditions and have added citizen involvement or the management of intangible factors related to landscape. In this sense, the landscape catalogues connect expert approaches such as character assessment with citizens, forging links between identity, economic development and landscape, and creating social understanding of the importance of landscape, sense of place, quality of life and social wellbeing. The tools used for public consultation include in-depth interviews with the principal actors in the landscape, consultation with experts, work sessions with local people from the area, on-line consultations, or opinion polls. http://www.catpaisatge.net/eng/catalegs.php
Didactic materials: The City, Territory, Landscape project is the result of the collaboration between the Ministry of Land and Sustainability and the Ministry of Education of the Government of Catalonia and the Landscape Observatory of Catalonia and is aimed at pupils and teachers of secondary schools in Catalonia. Its purpose is to enhance the knowledge of Catalan landscape heritage and raise students' awareness to the need to preserve landscape values and understand the action of humans on natural surroundings. It is an interdisciplinary initiative which offers the chance to work on the natural and human elements of the territory in a comprehensive manner and from the observation of specific, real landscapes, subject to very modern changes and problems. There are mainly two elements to the didactic materials: a folder with 12 panoramic wall charts, and a website with interactive activities:

Publications: The Landscape Observatory of Catalonia has two collections of books under the name of "Plecs de Paisatge" and "Documents". The collection "Plecs de Paisatge" has two series: 'Reflections' and 'Tools'. The first includes articles, studies, workshops and conferences which consider, either generally or through specific cases, a particular aspect or problem related to the landscape. The series ''Tools', on the other hand, includes regulations, instruments and methods for the protection, management and planning of landscape. As its name indicates, "Documents" is a collection of short texts on landscape in small format.

Guidelines for professionals and decision-making actors.
- Website "Landscape at the local perspective". Website that aims to gather, classify and order a selection of the main experiences around Europe and around the world on the promotion of landscapes locally, making them available to town halls, communities, local entities, specialised experts and the general public.
- Document "Landscape Planning at the Local Level in Europe". Document that compiles the principal items and experiences of landscape planning in the local field existent in Germany, France, the Netherlands, United Kingdom, Switzerland and the Belgian region of Wallonia, and analyses its relation with local planning, also the town-planning and the sectorial.
Digital newsletters:
- Landscap-e containing reference information on landscape in Catalonia, the Spanish State and at international level. It includes news on the Landscape Observatory itself, important developments on landscape, new documents and regulations, bibliographic references, websites of interest, articles published in the print media, a calendar of activities, seminars and conferences, among other information.

Seminars and Workshops: The Landscape Observatory of Catalonia prepares seminars, courses and conferences in order to contribute to reflection, training and social sensitisation with respect to the landscape.

Dossiers: The digital dossiers gather, classify and make available all the information that can be found on the Web on several landscape-related topics (industrial landscape, gardens, dry-stone landscape, trees, soundscapes…), as well as projects, bodies and institutions belonging to this area. Therefore, they are designed as a reference point for professionals and also for a wider audience. Since their inception, the dossiers have broadened their scope, thanks to the valuable help of a number of institutions, bodies and individuals.

Documentation Centre: The Documentation Centre is a place for information and consultation, and it has becomed a centre of reference in matters of landscape in Catalonia. The functions of the Documentation Centre are to support the Landscape Observatory in the development of its activity, to support research on landscape undertaken by institutions or private organisations, and to offer the maximum updated quality information to people interested in landscape. The Documentation Centre collection contain more than 4.000 monographs, periodical publications, unpublished documents, print media, audio-visual documents… It deals with landscape in the broadest sense and particularly the planning and management of landscape in Catalonia, in the rest of Spain and in the world. Consultation is free and open to everyone.

Switzerland. LABES - Landscape Observatory Switzerland [CH-NLO]:
Switzerland has a very heterogeneous landscape in relation to its small area. The landscape is - however - an important resource for social identity, tourism, recreation and the protection of biodiversity. Sustainable landscape development calls for repeated observations of the landscape elements in order to derive appropriate measures for the Swiss landscape conservation policy. This is the goal of the program "Landscape Monitoring Switzerland" (LABES) of the Federal Office for the Environment (FOEN). Landscape development is periodically measured with indicators, that are able to assess the physical aspects of landscapes as well as the symbolic contents. WSL has contributed to this program over years and has developed 34 indicators which will be measured in the future. Merging both social and natural science indicators to a holistic view of landscape is innovative and a scientific milestone for both monitoring and landscape research.

Partecipazione 30-31 Marzo 2009 Strasbourg, Concil of Europe, Palai de l'Europe "THE EUROPEAN LANDSCAPE CONVENTION" dove l'OEP di Arco latino ha rappresentato l'Associazione con una relazione tecnica ed operativa chiedendo ed ottenendo un incontro in Italia nel 2011 di tutti gli Osservatori Europei del Paesaggio.
Convenzione Università di Salerno - Università di Granada nell'ambito del Master Europeo del Paesaggio dal 15 al 21 Marzo p.v.
Ha organizzato il primo Master Europeo del Paesaggio.
Ogni anno organizza la Summer School "Dialoghi sul Paesaggio".
Riconosciuto dal Consiglio d'Europa ed ha partecipato alla Conferenza Internazionale per l'attuazione della CEP.
Ha promosso il Primo Premio Nazionale sui Percorsi di Partecipazione alle politiche del paesaggio e della biodiversità.
Ha promosso la nascita del gruppo di lavoro "Partecipazione Paesaggio e Biodiversità" nell'ambito del Coordinamento Nazionale dell' Ag.21 locale.

Italy, Lombardia. Osservatorio per la Qualità del Paesaggio [IT-RLM]:
Dalla sua istituzione, l'Osservatorio provvede periodicamente (annualmente) alla predisposizione di approfondimenti tematici, ritenuti rilevanti ai fini del monitoraggio di attuazione e del miglioramento della normativa regionale di riferimento (L.r. 12/2005) e degli strumenti di pianificazione (in particolare il Piano Paesaggistico approvato nel 2010 in modalità integrata al Piano Territoriale Regionale. Gli approfondimenti fino ad oggi realizzati riguardano:
- (2012) Compatibilità per gli aspetti paesaggistici dei Piani Territoriali di Coordinamento Provinciale (PTCP) con il Piano Territoriale Regionale (PTR)/Piano Paesaggistico Regionale (PPR);

Italy, Piemonte. Osservatorio del Biellese Beni Culturali e Paesaggio [IT-BBP]:
L'Osservatorio del Biellese beni culturali e paesaggio, nato nel 1994 come Osservatorio beni culturali e ambientali del biellese e costituitosi come onlus nel 1998, è un'associazione di secondo livello che riunisce attualmente 29 organismi rappresentativi della società civile.
Dal 1994 al 1998, l'Osservatorio si è posto come punto di collegamento tra gli esperti di storia locale, gli attivisti delle associazioni ambientaliste e i rappresentanti di altri enti di varia natura che operano nel campo dei beni culturali e ambientali, svolgendo principalmente tre funzioni:
- essere sede di confronto e coordinamento tra gli aderenti;
- offrire servizi agli stessi;
- dare vita a un calendario di incontri pubblici su argomenti di rilievo.
