Monica holds an M.Sc. in Environmental Engineering at Politecnico di Torino, where she graduated in September 2019. During her Master thesis she worked within the context of the NANOGRASS project, which it is aimed at developing an environmentally friendly pesticide nano-formulation with reduced mobility in the subsoil, groundwater and air. Monica developed an innovative nanoherbicide formulation using green, easily available and low cost materials. Currently she is working on nanopesticide fate and transport in subsoil and groundwater, both from an experimental and modelling point of view.
