MNM1D (Micro-and Nanoparticle transport Model in porous media in 1D geometry) is a numerical model for the simulation of colloid transport in porous media in the presence of both constant and transient hydrochemical conditions. It takes into accounts attachment and detachment phenomena, that can be modeled with one or two linear and/or langmuirian interaction sites.
The governing equations are solved using a finite-difference approach. The model is implemented in a Matlab environment and provided in a encrypted version (.p files), that can be run on machines that have already installed the Matlab program. The files provided here allow direct simulations only. For a full version including also inverse simulation, please contact tiziana.tosco[at]polito.it.
