Felix holds a M.Sc. in Agricultural Sciences, he graduated in 2019 with a thesis titled “Rain-fed maize cultivation in Madagascar: agronomic management in semi-arid areas”, under the supervision of prof. Francesco Vidotto (University of Turin, DISAFA) and prof. Enrico Palchetti (University of Florence). His thesis studied weeds, cover crop rotations and enhancement of agronomic techniques. It aimed at improving soil fertility management and corn production in the area. After the graduation, he coordinated the research activities in Madagascar and then worked as agronomist in a rice farm based in Romania.
He joined the Groundwater Engineering Research Group in December 2020 as research fellow under the NANOGRASS project, partnering with the Department of Agricultural, Forest and Food Sciences (DISAFA), University of Turin. He will study the environmental and agronomic factors of new ecological nanoformulations of plant protection products.
He enjoys intercultural events, he volunteers in local NGOs, and works as a social worker.
