Serena holds a B.Sc. in Chemistry and Chemical Technologies from Università degli Studi di Torino and a M.Sc. in Environmental Chemistry from the same University, where she graduated in October 2021. Her Master thesis is titled “Column degradation of the dye Acid Blue 74 by a Fenton reaction in a column based on zero-valent iron”. The experimental work was carried out in the laboratories of the Groundwater Engineering Research Group.
In October 2021 she joined the Groundwater Engineering Research Group as a fellow researcher. Her work concerns the execution of column tests for water purification.
