Sofia holds a BA in Foreign Languages and Literatures from the University of Pavia and a MA in Translation and Interpreting from the University of Turin. She specialized in English and Russian, spending a semester at the Moscow State Linguistic University. After working at the International Office of the University of Turin, she moved to Saint Petersburg to teach Italian. She currently works as a copyeditor, proof-reader and translator at the Department of Environment and Infrastructure Engineering (Politecnico di Torino). She is also the developer, content creator and translator of the Groundwater Engineering Research Group website.
