Marta Pavarino obtained a master degree in Agricultural Sciences at the University of Turin and a diplôme d’Ingénieur agronome at the University VetAgro Sup of Clermont Ferrand. She did her master thesis at the Chambre d’agriculture du Var (France), in the viticulture department where she was involved in applied research on biocontrol products against grapevine downy mildew and powdery mildew and on the effect of shade nets against water stress. During her studies she completed some internships at INRAE in Clermont Ferrand. She joined the Groundwater Engineering Group as a research fellow in 2023 to work on reducing the environmental impact of herbicides used in rice cultivation through nanoformulations.
