Giovanni Prassede holds a M.Sc in Environmental Engineering obtained at Politecnico di Torino in March 2020. He carried out his master thesis work at the company Golder Associates, where he developed a numerical model for a polluted aquifer influenced by tidal phenomena under the supervision of Professor Rajandrea Sethi. After the master’s degree, he worked for three months as a Groundwater Modeler in a consulting firm, where he built a numerical model for a coastal aquifer. In September 2020 he joined the Groundwater Engineering Research Group: the topic of his research, carried out in partnership with the company Eni Rewind, is the modelling of groundwater flow and contaminant transport in aquifer systems.
